Works well and fits on the tip of the tire securely. Only thing I don't like is that the light goes out and I think Ive been pressing the button again too soon, before it actually turns off. So I end up switching to different units than what I want. I wish I could somehow lock it into PSI. There should be 2 buttons. One to switch the units and one to turn it on or off. Oh - you cant turn it off, you just wait until it turns off by itself, although that isnt long and easy to get used to.
Extremely delicate, but works if you're a delicate person.

I was on the verge of giving this thing a one star review, but as a last-ditch effort I took it apart, fixed the issue and brought it back to life. Little story to follow:

I purchased this gauge around the time I got my new car (early summer of 2017). As such, I didn't have to use it for several months because the mild summers in my state are kind to car tires. I decided to bust it out for the first time this past Saturday because we've had a couple weeks of sub-45 degree weather, and after 5 months of driving, it was certainly time to at least check the tire pressure.

It was a particularly nasty afternoon; wet, windy and dark. I wanted to fill my tires up as quickly as possible so I could return to my warm and comfortable home. One by one I pressed the gauge into the tire valve stems, checking the initial PSI, filling the tires with air, and confirming I hit 32 PSI. On the very last tire, I did the initial check but accidentally dropped the gauge a couple inches off the ground. It was such a seemingly gentle and inconsequential drop, but when I picked the gauge back up, it went blank. No light, no anything.

In disbelief I questioned "Is that it? Was that all it took to break this thing?" And honestly, I was pretty pissed off for several minutes after it happened. I did not want to believe that on my very first use, a two-inch fall from my hand to the asphalt was all it took to render the device completely and utterly incapable. I sat in my car and wondered how exactly I would word the very review I am leaving right now.

Before I decided to give this gauge a 1-star rating, I did take a glance at the other comments. One person mentioned that he took it apart several times for a reason that I did not care to read. I figured, why the hell not. I unscrewed both screws and separated the halves which revealed the simple and delicate construction of which the device is built. I pressed my finger on the tiny battery, and lo and behold, the bright blue light is back again. It isn't a broken turd after all.

To wrap this up, I'm glad the device is still working. It gets three stars because of its nice little features: it's super light weight (literally feels like you're holding air), simple to operate, as accurate as a 10 dollar piece of plastic can be, and has a bright light which helps at any time of day or night. However, the gauge is not worth any more than three stars because all it took was one piddling drop to make the gauge fail and ruin the my attitude for the following 15 minutes.

If the developer of this gauge is reading: please invest in a more secure method of housing the battery; a simple drop to the ground should not have enough of an impact to completely or even partially disengage the battery.
Works good for me.

Works good. You have to get the proper angle of the valve stem to form a good seal. I don't know how long the batteries will last. It might be cheaper just to order another one of these instead of replacing the batteries. They sell very similar models of this device on Amazon, some even a little less expensive than this one. I'm not sure how they compare to this item. This is the first digital tire pressure gauge I ever owned.
So I have been filling my car 3psi over all this time because of the bad accutire guage

I bought two, one as a gift and one for myself since I only had an analog one. After reading the tire pressure with a namebrand accutire analog guage then with the digital pressure guage, I found a 3 psi discrepency. So I checked the pressure with the 2nd Tekton guage also, and found both tektons matched. So I have been filling my car 3psi over all this time because of the bad accutire guage! No wonder my car rode so hard. Any way, this guage is awesome with it being lit and seals nicely over the valve stem. Pair it up with a viar compressor and your set to go!
100 psi works well and does light up nicely to see the reading

This TEKTON 5941 Digital Tire Gauge, 100 psi works well and does light up nicely to see the reading. The size of the display is small but readable. It appears to be slightly off in the accuracy of reading the psi; but not enough that would affect a normal passenger or truck tire pressure. For the price, it is a nice gauge to have stored in a car especially if you are attempting to check the pressure when it's dark. I would purchase the TEKTON 5941 Tire Gauge again, but I would still also have a larger dial gauge in my garage as my main tool of choice.
