Nice side table. With this small table, however, the "weave" trim around the edge seems to catch a lot of debris. Probably more noticeable because it's (a) smaller so proportionally larger area to catch dust and outdoor debris, and (b) closer because it's right next to the chairs. Still like it very much with the set though. Keep drip system repair and replace supplies inside - tubing, connectors in a fishing tackle case, other equipment. Surprised it all fit easily!

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL product. Screws don't fit and can't even get a screwdriver to fit into the space that it needs to to screw in some of the screws.

Assembly instructions are incorrect at end. As others have described, there is a metal bracket for the lid that does not appear to be a correct part. If you follow the instructions, you can't screw in the screws, because the driver or drill can't access the area...wrong metal bracket or bad design? Also, provided screw shank is too large to fit thru the holes, making it impossible to assemble. At first, I just thought I didn't understand the instructions, but it's not possible to complete because the INSTRUCTIONS are wrong. The bar doesn't fit where the instructions say. They explain to attach this bar to the lid before attaching the lid to the box. The lid can be attached before or after attaching the bar, as the bar should not be attached to the lid at all. Instead, attach the long bar to the top of the front panel. Fit it over the existing plastic ridge (doesn't need to fit perfectly.) Attach the screws thru the small rectangular opening/slots on each end of the bar, not thru round holes. Lastly, the small latch piece can then be attached to the bar with a screw thru to the unit. Two stars because Suncast hasn't taken any step to fix the situation. Suncast, please fix the situation with a label or insert, new instructions, or put something on your website. Showing assembly on YouTube would be smart.

I really like the two I purchased for our patio. I bought them with the intent of using them to place my fire pit table cover in one and the large umbrella cover in the other. They work out perfect for them. In fact I could probably put both in one and use the other for summer yard items / play items. The only thing we did different was something that other people mentioned and that is with the cover being hard to open we removed the latch. Yes, the latch is VERY hard to open. I believe they do that so little kids don't try to open them and crawl in. We took the front latch/hook off and it works perfect for us now and it is heavy enough to stay down without a latch. They are also pretty easy to put together but as others mentioned you need an electric drill as the holes are not drilled and you have to drill them as you are placing the screws in. If you don't have electric drill it will take probably hours to put it together. It took about 20 minutes for the first one with the cordless electric drill.

Nice little storage box. Perfect match for the chairs we have. Unfortunately, NOT easy to assemble (difficult instructions and badly illustrated). I had to use a rubber mallet to pound the sides/front/back pieces together. Additionally, although some of the screw holes are pre-drilled, you still have to force the screws into un-drilled hard plastic to join the bottom piece to the sides/front/back (there's just an indentation where the screw is supposed to fit). Some of the screws, especially for the lid, were impossible to insert because the screws were too large for the pre-drilled holes. We ended up not using the clip-down edging for the lid. The lid just sits on top of the box. Obviously, we can't overfill the box or the lid won't stay on. We probably would NOT ever purchase another Suncast Elements product that is not already assembled. Quality control pretty bleak!
Other than that, this little box holds 3-20x20 cushions when not in use on our chairs.
