Works great. Contains enough material to refill the humidifier 4-5 times, manufacturer recommends changing once yearly so that's up to five years' worth of protection.

I believe I followed the instructions to a 't'. Cleaned it out. Put in 4-5 spoonfuls (spoon provided). Added distilled water. It deflates by the 2nd-3rd day. I decided to add another spoonful, then another. It still deflates by the 2nd-3rd day. Nowhere near the week promised. The Oasis hygrometer says 30% on the 2nd-3rd day.
