Biggest issue is that if you need to make tilt adjustment there isn't a good way to tighten it back up

Comes with limited instructions, or I don't know how to read them, either way, trying to get it to tilt is as straight forward as it thought it might.

This product is a good design and you can adjust to fit any projector. Installation is simple and fast. My only problem is that the extension rod holding the projector has too much play of movement and all it takes is one slight touch on the projector when you are adjusting it and wham!...your picture is not aligned on the screen anymore. You are supposed to use the swivel at the base to make those adjustments but the extra slack of movement on the rod can't be fixed (it is held my the 2 push locking pins)...I had to use shims to keep my alignment to stay.
It's cheap but does a good job. It definitely feels like it can't hold ...

It's cheap but does a good job. It definitely feels like it can't hold up a projector, but once you mount the thing and stick it in the ceiling, it holds and is reliable. Can't beat the price either.

I used this to mount a projector outside. Because its outside, I would disconnect the mount arm from the base and bring that and the projector inside when not actively using. Worked well enough for a few months. Unfortunately, the bolts that hold the arm to the base no longer hold their threading and as a result I can't tighten them - leaving the projector loosely attached and uneven. I am actively looking for a replacement.

The reason why I am giving this mount 4 stars is because the directions that come with the mount wasn't easy to read. The instructions used small pictures that were hard to read. It took me 3 times to put this mount together and I am pretty good with this type of stuff. It would also be great if you could align this mount a little easier. Not that it is the mounts fault, but my projector was pointing a little too far down on the screen so I actually had to ben the mount that attaches to the ceiling to make it level. Overall, it is a good mount for the money if you are familiar with assembling these types of products.
