These inserts are the worst. I broke them in by wearing them a few hours per day as the instructions states but still are a problem. One insert feels fine on the left but the right foot feels horrible as if the alignment is off. I've tried them in different shoes and still the same thing. I also compared them side by side and they even look different from one another. I am using the smallest insert as I couldn't even bare the use of the increased insert. Not happy at all

These do not stay put in your shoes and I know it says you need to wear them for a while to get used to them....but they were extremely painful. Warning - the listing says they have a 30 day money back guarantee, when I decided to return them the next business day, I got a message saying they were NOT returnable. Amazon refunded my money anyway after I contacted them...just beware.

I need these to support my arches and reduce the constant pain in my metatarsal joints. My foot doctor stated that they are good, but lack the stiffness of true orthotics. I agree with the stiffness remark (wish they were stiffer and didn't flex so much under load - they would work much better for me), but they are much cheaper than what he was trying to get me to buy! I use the high inserts.
I've used these for years and the latest design isn't as durable as the earlier generation I first used. They are also more expensive than they were. I have three pairs and they have all failed in the same areas after almost a year's worth of daily use (see photo). The left side is a mirror image of the right for the cracks. I suspect the molding process leaves a potential weakness in the material. Hence the 4 star rating.

I've been using a pair of orthotics I bought for a few hundred dollars at the Good Feet Store for over a decade. They changed my life so significantly for the better. I went from painful, sore, bruised feelings in my feet to normal in less than a week. I can't stress enough how orthotics help ones feet if indeed you're suffering as I did. Having given my podiatric history i can tell you the Walkfit orthotics are a very good/great alternative or replacement for the extremely expensive ones I bought so long ago.

Judging by the reviews I am sure that these probably won't work for everyone but they sure have been a lifesaver for me. I am guessing that a lot of people giving bad reviews don't use them through their break-in period. Read the instructions when you get them...wear them a little bit at a time until you get used to them. I will say they did feel a little weird (and maybe a little painful) at first but after my feet adjusted they have really helped me get back on my feet (pun intended). After a long day on my feet I used to get up the next morning and not even be able to walk to the bathroom. I would have to go through about 15 minutes of stretching (plantar fasciitis) just to be able to limp...and that pain would carry on all day. With these in my shoes I can work all day in the yard or walk all day on vacation with no pain the next day. They work so well for me that I just bought a second pair for my boots so I don't have to fish them out every time I change shoes. If you are suffering like I was then I hope they work as well for you as they did for me...because it is miserable not being able to walk.
