So impressed by the taste of this product. The only downside is the mouthfeel. It creates a sort of film on your tongue/teeth, however, on the bright side, that film helps protect your teeth from cavities lol. Taste wise it is so good. I used it to make a low carb ice cream and it was excellent

Inconsistent texture

This would be a very good product if the manufacturers were more consistent about texture. I ordered it once and the crystals were huge: did not like it. I thought it did not work as well as I expected. Years later I ordered again, same brand: this time it was perfect: fine grains similar to sugar. Well, I went ahead and immediately ordered the next package and it has big crystals again! So frustrating.
I suppose it does not matter if you use it for cooking/eating. I use xylitol mouth rinses and the fine crystals work so much better as you put half a teaspoon in your mouth, wait until it dissolves in your saliva and then swish for a couple of minutes and spit it out. Big crystals don't dissolve as fast and feel grainy on the teeth.

I've been using this for 3 days and I must say that this is the best that is out there. I have tried at least 5 different types of artificial sweeteners. With this, I don't find any aftertaste, such as metal, that you find in many of the artificial sweeteners. I also have not had any side effects, such as headaches or diarrhea as many of these artificial sweeteners can give you.
I did research on this, and found that it has many health benefits.
It is made from White Birch and I'm happy that I found this.
I also like the fact that it is granular, and not powdery. It dissolves very quickly and hot liquids.
It tastes like sugar, but it is not two times sweeter like artificial sweeteners. So you use it just as you would if you were using regular sugar.

There may be some Birch mixed in, but back of bag clearly states made from corn in USA, "not made from corn in China, but the United States, where it is strictly regulated by the FDA" (see back of back pic). Amazon description says 100% Birch which it is not. Corn cob xylitol is much more sustainable than xylitol from wood. The price on this should be a red flag. Too inexpensive for Birch xylitol. Also note, most corn is USA is GMO corn. Do your research before purchasing.
