Make sure you are getting the product you want. This is cirnstarched based product that makes a clear liquid look cloudy. Hormel has another product called Thick and Easy Clear. That is what I thought I was ordering. Will use up - but disssppointed that I would be charged return shipping to return the items.

Does coat glass and does not dissolve readily
... the bottom of the cup even when it seems like it's dissolved completely

I have used this and Thick-It for my mom's dysphasia type 3 diet (nectar thickness) and this one seems to make distinct lumps in the bottom of the cup even when it seems like it's dissolved completely. So far I think my mom drinks more of the Thick-It thickened liquids. I am bummed about that because this one looks like it dissolves more completely. I use a battery operated whisk and a small whisk and the lumps happened with both.
