Only one of the skeleton keys works. The one that doesn't work is too large and the hole is offset. Not the best craftsmanship, but for my purposes I don't necessarily need two functioning keys so I'm not going through the hassle of returning it.

This lock is adorable and works. It's large tho, we bought it for our card box for our wedding but the "girth" of the lock is very thick so it didn't work. It was so cute though, we decided to keep it to use somewhere else. Haven't figure out where yet, may have to swap out the latch on the car door box or something.
Must use key to lock!

I'm so happy with this lock, EXCEPT there was sticky residue on the back (goo gone should do the trick, no big deal), however the lock isn't like a padlock where you just click it to lock. You have to use the key to lock it - which will be fine, I just need to figure out a way to do this during our ceremony!

I love this lock!!! The best part about it (besides it's great medieval looks is that it appears to be handmade. It had a little sticker that said 'India'. If someone handmade this like it appears to be, my hat is off to them, it's a great little design and great craftsmanship. The only problem with the lock, which this was just a very slight cosmetic issue was the the rivets were not bucked very well on the backside. They are functional and work fine, they just don't look that good on the backside. I'm a stickler for that kind of stuff and I would not let that stop you from buying this cool lock. It's a good purchase and looks great on my daughter's cabinet that I made!

An excellent decorative lock. The shackle itself is a bit large, so expect to have to attach it to something with a large hole for locks. The pictures are very accurate and it feels very authentic. I would not use it for any kind of security, but if you are looking for a vintage look - this is perfect.
