Total waste of time and money

A piece of junk. Never could get the front door to slide out as the diagram shows. Total waste of time and money.

Very east to set up. For test I set it up in back yard, caught old stray cat. If you want to capture animals you can't go wrong with this item. Not big size animal like Raccoons.

Good Value for an Inexpensive Trap

Fairly decent trap for the price, which makes it a pretty good value. The folding feature is a big plus but it has a tendency to bend the trap latching mechanism and requires straightening to fix. It will set up quickly with the end panels snapping in place but you need to make sure that the four corner metal clips are properly engaged. The tripping plate takes a lot of weight if the door catch isn't set just right; which means that a small animal like a kitten or mouse would probably not be heavy enough to trip the door. The powder coating is pretty thin and doesn't exist at the places where the hinge clips are located to hold the trap together. But all in all it will do the job at an affordable cost.

We are very pleased with this trap. It worked great the first day out. It's a decent size as well for larger cats.
We have a couple of traps including a spring loaded one which we stopped using after several cats got an injured foot in it. Glad it wasn't worse. So we retired that one and figured we'd try this since we have borrowed a similar one. Highly recommended and the price is right too.
When we have to return the other borrowed trap we will likely buy another of these.
