The bottle arrive with the foil seal broken and it had leaked. I didn't bother trying to return since I had to use it that weekend. It didn't get rid of all of the bugs but I've noticed a huge difference. we had a horrible infestation in our backyard due to our neighbors abandoning their home and pets. You couldn't walk outside without being swarmed by fleas and cockroaches. Now we only see a few and we don't see any inside. I'm confident with a few more treatments we won't have a problem anymore. This stuff is the best thing we've bought to combat the bugs.

First I would like to say the size of this bottle is wonderful for the price! After my indoor cat somehow got fleas, we began seeing them in our house and getting bitten. We vacuumed everyday for a month and kept putting down diatomaceous earth but nothing was working. We began hard and long research on the best chemicals to treat your house for fleas with and we found that in order to successfully stop the cycle of fleas in your home you will need an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator, we purchased Nyguard from another seller on Amazon) and an adulticide (Permethrin SFR). That way you have a product that kills the eggs and larvae and a product that kills the adults. We took my kitty to the vet to have a flea bath and sprayed the whole house with a mix of Nyguard and Permethrin SFR. After the first spray, we still saw a few fleas for about a week. Then we decided to mix Nyguard into our carpet shampooer and shampoo with it. We then sprayed one more time with Permethrin. Now, about two weeks later we haven't seen any fleas. I would like to note that this does have a very strong scent and I would recommend that you wear a mask when applying it. Overall, I am so happy with this product and would consider it essential to anyone having a really tough time with fleas. I would also like to say that after dealing with fleas for the second time in a year (my boyfriend had them before this and he called an exterminator) I have learned that the best flea medication for cats is Revolution. I tried Advantage II and they were living like nothing had ever happened. I live in the South where fleas are really bad and have become immune to it. PLEASE READ: Permethrin is okay for dogs but is VERY TOXIC to cats. If a cat comes in contact with the smallest amount of wet product, it is likely it will kill it. 0.4 fluid ounces with 32 oz of Water in a spray bottle and the mosquitos drop right out of the air and flop on the ground for a few seconds. And the odor seems to keep insects away. So yea, this stuff is very good under decks and in your yard to keep them out and to kill whatever is unfortunate enough to get hit by any droplet.

I just want to start off by saying that I try to use natural products whenever possible, whether I'm trying to control/repel insects or choosing food or beauty products for my family and pets. But we're building a new home in the woods, and the woods happen to be in an area that has one of the highest Lyme-carrying tick populations in the state. Making matters worse, mosquitoes, black flies, deer flies, hornets...they all make being outside miserable. I can't walk from the front door to the car without being swarmed and bitten.

We have tried everything to repel these insects, and nothing works. You can't endure more than five minutes on the porch without being eaten alive. So finally, in desperation and after a ton of research, I bought this. I mixed a weak 2.5% gallon solution in a lawn and garden sprayer and doused the deck, the wood posts, the area around the porch lights, and the roof above. And for the first time ever, we were able to enjoy sitting outside for HOURS. Insects would try to fly onto the porch, but as if we'd put up a screen, they turned around and flew away without ever landing on anything.

I even sprayed some hats and clothing and let the items dry thoroughly, and amazingly, I was able to walk through the woods without getting bitten, when usually I'd suffer dozens of bites and stings. When I misted the dog with an even lighter solution than recommended, the ticks literally fell out of her coat with a quick brush and died where they fell even after getting on her the next day.

I HATE using stuff like this because I don't want to kill the good bugs and I certainly don't want to get poison on any of my loved ones, but this will definitely become our summer go-to for occasional use when needed. The instruction booklet that comes with it gives great guides for use on treated wood, raw wood, animals, chicken coops, flooring, etc., so you should be able to find exactly how much is needed for whatever use you need it for. Just remember it'll kill the good things too --it's amazing stuff, but with great power comes great responsibility... :)

This is like magic in a bottle !!! We were having a major mosquito problem all last summer and knew we needed to tackle it head on . My husband did some research and we came to this - we purchased this and thought "what do we have to lose"? He sprayed it and after the first 3 sprays there are no more mosquitos !!!! When it rains it becomes less effective , so we always spray after the rain , and obviously when no kids or cats are around because in this is toxic for cats. But this has given us our backyard back !!
