I've had more success with these than other traps. They usually kill right away and it's rare for the bait to get "stolen." That said, the traps do wear out, and seem to be good for about three or four mice before they start to not reset properly. Still, they're better and easier than the wood traps.

These are the simplest traps to use! I won't use anything else. Put a dollop of attractant in the little cup area, set it, and walk away. It kills the mouse (or rat in the larger rat traps) instantly! Then we just crimp it open, dump the rodent in the trash and it's ready to go again. I recently heard it's even more of n attractant is you DON'T clean it between uses, as the rodent will smell the previous 'occupant' and come inquiring. So no longer is my son allowed to wash off any blood or 'pieces' after dumping a victim in the trash.

This is by far the most easy to use mouse trap I have ever tried. Our Exterminator left me two to try when I found signs there was a mouse in my car, and my wood traps weren't working. You can put your choice of enticing treat in the convenient tray. I did use Tomcat Gel Mouse Attractant. I bought it on Amazon with the traps, they actually show other customers buying the two together. It is a thick gel, where one drop fills the tray and it will last for couple catches.These traps do not snap your fingers, no more fear of getting snapped while setting traps, there is a release for humans so we can load them. They work like a clothes pin for easy setting and handling. No more need to pry mouse from trap, just squeeze the trap like a clothes pin give a shake and the mouse is gone.
They do work fine and will get used but they don't fit well ...

These are definitely not "mini's". They are much larger than the dimensions given. These are full size and will work well for rats. The dimensions are nearly 3 inches wide,5 1/2 inches long and 3 inches tall. I have several mini versions of the T-Rex and these aren't one of them. They do work fine and will get used but they don't fit well in tight places. This is a picture of a Pack Rat, weighing about a pound, caught in one of these traps. That's, peanut butter on his lips, definitely bad for your health.

A very short review.... the traps are ok.. easy to use, light weight, but often don"t kill a mouse outright.. I set a couple out in the garage area... and found that they are not powerful enough and often the injured mouse can drag the trap around after being caught.. this results in you having to deal with a live injured mouse in a trap.
There are other traps that are more powerful and effective that will kill the mouse quickly.
