Exactly what was needed
No clear cap

Mine didn't come with the clear cap. That's the one reason i like this device over others. Luckily i was able to use my previous clear cap, but if you lost yours or are a first time buyer you should be aware.
Great lancet device

Nice lancet device. Replaces one I had for many years that was dropped and broke. Must have used it thousands of times before I broke it! The dial for intensity of the finger stick is great, much better than other lancet devices I have used. It's also very easy to use.
Excellent replacement unit

This was purchased as a replacement item for the lancet device that came with my Freestyle glucometer and which subsequently, several years later, ceased to function. The new unit that I purchased from Amazon functions exactly like the original unit and uses the same Freestyle lancets that my original did.
