I've tried a lot of products. Glue traps and mouse traps. Some worked some of the time. But I had this one mouse. He would come out every night and look at me. He avoided the mouse and glue traps. He wouldn't eat the poison bait. He would just come out every night, scamper around and look at me. And I would get up and scare him away. He would run under a small cart and come out again a few minutes later. This went on for months. And I could tell he was becoming less afraid of me because he was coming closer and was reacting more slowly over time. I didn't want a pet mouse!!! I wanted him gone.!!
So I thought to look for glue traps that laid flat on the floor and didn't have a lip. I thought if there wasn't a lip he wouldn't have to climb into the glue trap...which I had been baiting...he could just inadvertently scamper on to it and get caught. These seemed to fit the bill. They arrived quickly and I used two of them that same night under the cart the mouse darts under. Success that first night!!! He came out as usual but was caught as he scampered under the cart.
I folded the trap in half over the caught mouse, bashed it with a hammer, and threw mouse and trap in the trash. Great product!!!

LOVE!!! I've recently been taken over by mice in my house. I've used snap traps as well as the ultrasonic repellents, which I think have driven the mice into other places inside my house like closets, where it's quiet. I saw babies Saturday morning and I decided to buy these. Got them Tuesday. No joke, I saw a baby mouse THREE TIMES, and each time I set up a trap and in less than a minute I caught the mouse each time. I caught 6 mice in 12 hours, 2 grown and 4 babies. The babies seem to die immediately, but I had to put the box in a plastic bag and stomp the bigger ones to be humane. One of them took off with a box last night and was nowhere to be found this morning. Found the box after work, empty. My best advice to people would be to do all the folding beforehand and peel off the protective paper after so you can quickly assemble the box without getting stuck to it. These have been a godsend.

We have had excellent results with these traps. Yesterday we replaced all 4 traps in our lower level screen patio as they were filled with bugs, spiders, etc. last evening this trap saved me from a potential trip to the ER. I went to pull our grill inside and noticed a new trap now about 6" away from the edge of the wall where we placed it. Upon further inspection it became clear why!! Stuck to this wonderful surface was a Copperhead snake that had gotten inside the screen. There are poisonous, they won't kill you but will make you ill and site of bite will cause incredible pain. Thank you for this amazing product and YES I will be ordering more!!
I have used these for years w great success at 3 different properties

I have used these for years w great success at 3 different properties. At the lake, they are great catching insects and scorpions that get in the house and garage. At the 6,000 sq ft shop building at our business in town, they catch the mice when they come in for the winter and insects all year long. At our new 600 unit self-storage facility, we give these to tenants to catch all types of insects that they bring along with them into our facility. These work great...wish they were my item to sell!
Outsmarted by a Mouse - Not My Best Day/Week

I feel like a character in Caddyshack with Bill Murray. We have this mouse at our office and he continues to leave his mark on everything we do. So we went to Amazon and bought traps. We did the review thing and found these traps. Although our outcome was slightly different than the reviews.
PRODUCT
The traps were super easy to assemble. They have a very sticky surface, so you have to avoid the surface. Once put together, they are just placed in the desired area. They are not small, but fit in open areas easily. The traps do not have a strong smell. The only concern I would have is little kids trying to play with them.
THE STORY
DAY 1
After setting up the box traps, which were very sticky and not fun to do, we laid them out with no bait in them, besides what they came with in the sticky glue. The traps were set and we placed bets which trap would catch the little creature.
DAY 3
Nothing occurred. No animal was captured. In fact, the mouse pulled out cupcake wrappers from an associate's trash and placed it RIGHT NEAR the trap. The little snot ate half of the cupcake wrapper and was laughing at us.
DAY 4
We still had nothing. So we took decisive action. We changed our bets from which trap to which day. Then we placed food in all the traps. We knew this would work.
DAY 7
After a long weekend, we came in excited to see what we caught. The sad news is that not only did we not catch him, he instead ate all the food and even POOPED in two of them! Attached you will see the image. So we decided to return them. What amazes me is he even ate some of the paper.
THE BET
So at the end of the day, the employee who is a PETA fan won! She bet we would not catch him and instead we bought a humane trap for catch and release. At first she had to defend herself that she did not do anything to the traps, but to her defense she was right, each trap had the hair of the mouse and poop! We were outsmarted by a mouse"¦
Day 10
We caught him with a humane trap, just 24 hours after the trap came in. The little guy was then released in my in-laws house"¦. Just kidding. We let him go in the field. The in-law idea was good though"¦ just don't like sleeping on the couch after the wife would have found out!
Good luck in your mouse journey. Catch and release actually made me feel good, so I recommend them!
