Have not successfully made espresso nor steamed milk.
VuduNovember 25, 2017
Espresso: followed instructions to the T but haven't been able to make espresso after 3 attempts. The instruction said to turn the knob about 180degree after filling the coffee and hot water and turn on the heat (gas flame). I did that but nothing came out even when the pressure relief valve was triggered. I lightly touched the espresso knob and coffee came spewing out at high force. On the 2nd and 3rd attempt, I adjusted the knob slightly passed 180 degrees to start with - same problem.

Steam milk: I can steam the same milk and create micro-foam fine without coffee inside but not with the coffee. Yes, after brewing, I did wait the 5 minutes after closing the espresso valve/knob, as instructed, until the pressure relief valve is open again.

Maybe I got a defective one, I'm not sure. In short, it is useless as a cappuccino maker when you can't make coffee and steam milk in the same contraption. I had to go back to my classic Italian stovetop espresso maker and steam the milk in this Bellman separately.
Steel is Real

I am really digging this thing. I brought it on a rafting camping trip and was making latte's and espressos in the middle of nowhere. It works great, easy to clean, and makes good coffee/steamed liquids. It takes a little bit to heat up everything and get to pressure, but i have patience. Also I am super stoked that it is stainless steel steel is real.
Great way to taste rubber gasket infused coffee!

Works ok I guess the problem is that all I can taste when I froth the milk is the rubber gaskets. Washed with it with everything under the sun from vinegar to citric acid, no luck, Yuck, this coffee maker seams to be a great way to ruin a great cup of coffee! Definitely returning asap!!
