Tent is ok
MaxOctober 11, 2014
Tent pros and cons
Pros: The tent did come with enough stakes;
I like the fact that the windows can be covered.
Has some pockets and is tall enough for me to stand up in, I am 6 feet tall
Tent is fairly easy for two people to set up

Cons: The darker red/rust color bled into the lighter tan color in several places.
This tent is not water proof, the seams must be sealed.
The fly does not cover the widows and if its raining and windy, you must zip up all the windows or inside will get wet.
Zippers are not high quality, dont know how long they will last.
This tent is not easy for one person to set up.

This tent is ok for the price.

Large tent
Mrs.BloomSeptember 23, 2014
We got an amazing deal on this tent, and it is huge. Local stores had it for hundreds more than the retailer on Amazon, so I was worried something might be wrong with it. It arrived on time and was brand new. It is a pain to put together because of all the criss-crossing poles, but other than that it's very spacious and made of durable materials. We were very pleased with this purchase.

When Bad Turns Good

The tent is great. But there's a little history. Somehow the thing got hung-up in shipping. I emailed the vendor, who, probably because nearly a month has passed, gave me an immediate refund. The funds were credited to my account within a day. Damn if 3 days after that, the tent doesn't show up at my house. I called the vendor to let them know it was delivered. I further offered to pay for it (again), or they could send me a mailing label and I'd send it back. The rep needed to speak with a manager. After a about 5 minutes on hold, the customer service rep came back on and said it was too complicated; keep the tent as a gift.

The tent itself is a little more complicated to erect than my old one, but I do like the fact that it's 6'2" at the center. It's very spacious and the large openings allow a lot of ventilation. I erected it to treat the seams, and now I'm good to go.
