Great tent. Kept us dry during a two day ...

Great tent. Kept us dry during a two day rain storm. Not quite a three person text. More like two.
A Smart Choice

We've only used our new tent a handful of times since we just received it, but for my husband and I it is ideal. Size of tent is just right for two adults with plenty storage room for our shoes & hiking gear when needed to be enclosed along with us. Love the smaller corner and overhead storage net compartments for our glasses/cell phones/ headlamps etc... And good air circulation throughout. We've found it to be well constructed and we've easily set it up in the dark after arriving late to a site, and it takes just minutes to take down and pack up, fitting neatly in its own carry bag. Very well satisfied overall
Great tent, but a bit small with two people
Brandon Hann✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 11, 2015
This tent is pretty small when get two people inside. However, it has suited our needs on multiple camping trips and in different types of weather. One of the best features about this tent is that it packs up very small and light. The bright orange color makes it stand out and it can be seen at night even with a little light.

As a backpacking/hiking tent, this one will do the job without fail, however it can get frustrating as a camping tent because you can't stand up inside so you have to change clothes and get dressed lying on your back. We also bought a full size air mattress and it fits perfectly with just enough room on the sides to put your packs and some other stuff. But the air mattress brings you closer to the top, so you feel like you actually have less room.

As for quality, Eureka is known for it's top of the line tents and this is one reason I sought out a Eureka model. I know that this tent will outlast many other brands and it has the versatility to withstand different weather and terrain. It's a bit pricier than other tents of this size, but that extra money goes toward higher quality materials. So far, I haven't acquired any rips or tears and it hasn't shown any signs of leaking.
Own 3, looking for a couple more.. as they are fantastic tents, not to mention fast..

When I went to purchase the previous model of this tent, I was informed of an epic design flaw, the store owner then offered me the new Taron3 at the price of the discounted sale item.. at this price, I bought 3!
I run a small canoeing company in my spare time and regularly go camping with friends - to date this tent has not let me or my clients down.
For clients it is exceedingly simple to put up and take down. I can do it in under 3 minutes, my clients taking no more than 5.

I've never had to camp in a totally exposed area, but the tent has gone through some heavy sustained winds and still maintained it's shape/integrity. I've never worried about leaving my tablet, laptop or high-end camera equipment in my tent for fear of it getting wet, even in the heaviest of downpours. The only water to come through the fly, is the morning dew.

2 main poles on the tent, 1 cross pole on the fly. 1 corner of fly is colour coded to allow for quick orientation. Vestibules are more than big enough to store all your required gear, leaving plenty of space inside. Space for 3 adults to sleep arms by their sides - Super comfortable for 2 or pure luxury for 1!
Easy set up and great for tall people

Very easy to set up and lightweight. I am 6'3" and I have a few inches to spare at my head and toes. Because of the steep sides of the Eureka tents, I do not believe I would fit well in the Amari but this one works very well.
