Smelly parts, inaccurate
Angel SierraApril 16, 2017
The literature and storage sack outgas really bad! Had to trash them it is so bad!
At first try the scale did not provide accurate readings even after recalibrating. If accuracy is important to you, then go elsewhere. This same scale is rebranded for different retailers so beware!
Completely Inaccurate.

I was excited to receive this scale and alway bought the proper 100g and 200g calibration weights.

Out of the box It read over 15% low on both the 100g and 200g calibration weights. The calibration procedure only asks for the 200g calibration weight and never proceeds to the 100g weight (as described in the manual) even though it says "pass" when presented. After the calibration it still reads several percent off and fluctuated over time. Zeroing, placing on object on, then taking off doesn't return to zero.

My old 100g Anerican Weight Scale, which I dropped recently, and got this new scale as a replacement for, is exact on 100.00g for the 100g calibration weight even after dropping it without EVER having been calibrated by me.

So this scale is either defective or not as advertised. My kitchen scale is more accurate. I would give zero stars as it stands. Will look into returning it tomorrow.
Calibration continually changes with time

I'm not sure if i received a defective scale or not but this scale is terrible for anything that requires accurate measurements. The 1/100th digit is a joke. After I turn on the scale and tare it, the calibration slowly creeps up in small increments and after several minutes it is miscalibrated by 0.4 grams and it continues to creep up. Why would there even be a 1/100th digit if the thing is this inaccurate? Am i supposed to re-tare the thing every few seconds and rush to try to get a supposed accurate reading? No thanks.
Mine was defective

Arrived in one piece, no visable damage to packaging. I was pleased at the size of the item, not too big, it looked like it would be portable and useful for my purposes.

UNFORTUNATELY the unit woul not weigh anything in any mode. I followed the calibration proceedure. Still no luck. After an hour or so fiddling with it and looking on YouTube to see if there might be something I missed, I gave up and responded to the 'gushing' request that I write an "epic review" of their product and my purchasing experience. The person I spoke with - "Victor" was very had to understand. I suppose the call center was somewhere in Asia. The CSR said they could not help me, I would have to call Amazon at the number they provided.

The Amazon rep was also very hard to understand, though pleasent. A return mailing package is now on the way. Too bad, I had high hopes for what looked like a very good product.

Perhaps I will eventually find a digital scale that will work for me.
Would not recommend this scale.

Scale has some pretty good features that work well. The dual measurement display would be an awesome feature if it wasn't for this one thing. The scale is not accurate. I have a 10g, a 100g, a 200g, and a 500g calibration weights that i have used with previous scales. My last scale in particular was especially good. When calibrated it would confirm each calibration weight to the exact amount, not .01 over/under. This scale however always is atleast .03 or .04 off. I follow the calibration steps with the 200g weight and i get a pass. I then turn the scale off and back on, replacing the same weight used to calibrate it back on the scale. Usually it will just say 200.03g but sometimes it will be as much as 200.05g. Whats worse is if i leave the weight on for more then 5 seconds without any changes, the scale will increase in weight every few seconds. Sometimes it will go as high as 200.12g before finally coming to a stop. I would not recommend this scale for anything except chicken portions, at least then the .05 difference wont matter.
