3 Stars because some other reviewer said that it comes ...

2 Stars because some other reviewer said that it comes with a sharpening stone - mine did not. The survival kit could have been bigger - there is enough room in the handle.
All that the 'survival kit' had was four matches, a striking pad, a length of fishing line and one hook.
The compass seems to work.
The sharp part of the blade (on the curve) has a dent - as if someone tried to use it to chop off a piece from a length of 1/2 inch steel rod - a re-sharpening should fix that.
The saw is weird - alternate teeth on the outside of the blade.

Really really great knife .... Very pathetic case.... It's worth it for the knifes alone .... But serously I didn't believe the reviews online.... Within ten mins I broke the case... Can it survive ?
Not great, but not terrible at this price

Not bad for the price. You're not looking at some high end brand or even Buck or Gerber, but if you're looking for a big knife for cheap that you're not concerned about destroying or losing, this is a great deal. However, do note that both of the blades are super duper dull when you get it, the cord that is wrapped around it is pretty crappy, the hollow handle is not at all waterproof where the blade joins, the surgical tubing for the slingshot is pretty dry and old and probably wouldn't hold up very well to repeated use, and the end cap with the compass has crooked threads and doesn't close well.
All that said, I'd say its probably worth the price for a big rambo knife that you can take camping and beat the hell out of and not be concerned about.
Edit: Just took a good look at the edge on it and a simple honing is not at all going to get this thing sharp. The edge is way lopsided and at different angles and needs to be completely redone. Kind of a bummer and I considered dropping it to 2 stars, but I'll round up from 2.5 since it is still basically what I expected for around $25

The accessory kit is puny and could be bigger like they have in other survival knives

For $9.62 I got what I paid for. The knife is sharp and the saw back is aggressive. The accessory kit is puny and could be bigger like they have in other survival knives. The threads on the end cap and knife fit kinda funny and easily cross threaded. The small knife included is fairly nice and sharp and does other functions. The slingshot portion is a toy. The bands look like they might break easily. The way the knife and sling shot/small knife holder are held in is poor. Just a piece of single adhesive sided foam keeping them from moving around at the top of the sheath. The big knife rattles around at the bottom of the sheath. The clasp mechanism that holds the knife from coming out of the sheath fits good and tight. The belt loop latch on this knife is too short by a half inch and could come out easily making the knife fall off your belt. That's the most troublesome thing about this knife. For only 10 bucks I don't feel like I got taken. I wouldn't pay much more than I did for this knife.
Terrible and fantastic, it just depends on what you want

This "knife" is so bad it's good!!!! Seriously, I needed the cheapest piece of garbage knife possible to use as a training knife. The purpose was to get something menacing looking that was super cheap. We ground the edges down so they were smooth, although the blade was incredibly dull to begin with. The compass doesn't work, the black finish on the shank was bubbling and uneven right out of the box, and a slingshot to kill small game with? Seriously???? I also love the markings on the blade: "HAND FORGED IN CHINA", like some artisan is hammering away over an anvil by firelight. Ha! $9 and change for this knife should tell you all you need to know. If you're looking for a real survival knife that will hold an edge and won't rust, run away. If you want something to play Rambo with your airsoft, this is it!
