Used the charger for my Kindle within a couple of days after receiving it. Yes, the cord is a little short, but not so much that I couldn't continue reading in my favorite chair. I got this charger after I lost my original one. It is a bit large, but it definitely charges faster than my original charger. It's fairly sturdy, withstood my cat deciding it was an excellent toy and batting it around the floor with no scratches or issues functioning.

This is a must have especially if you have an old computer. They don't really work as a charge. You could grow old waiting if it charges at all. The quick charger does in a few minutes what otherwise you would struggle to get a full charge or even one that last a day.
