My favorite cookie growing up was the chocolate chip cookie. I'm sure I was pretty typical in this regard. And even though I'm now an older adult, they're still my favorite cookie. The big difference is that I don't have my mom around any longer to make me a batch. So, if I'm going to have chocolate chip cookies I'm going to have to make them myself. And, like my mom always did, I prefer these Hershey's semi-sweet chips. They remain firm while baking, and they deliver great semi-sweet chocolate flavor that enhances the cookies.
