First purchase UPS actually bent the steel lip during transport. Returned and just a few days later got a replacement with no issues.
Install is not hard if you have the right tools and know what your doing. I'm disappointed in the keypad on this unit. No way to disable the sound (which is extremely annoying), buttons are very oversized and clumsy for an electronic safe. The programming instructions are on a single piece of paper that is a waste of space. Just very cheap.
Budget wise this was all I could afford and it's good. If they had better electronics it would be a fantastic value safe.

No complaints. Make sure u take into account the lock takes up fair amount of interior. Also, not all wall studs r perfect or installed at same distance, so consider getting shims to tack on

Very well-made and easy to install! I had one of these at our last house, so when we made a move, I knew I had to buy another. Incredibly easy to install, takes less than 20 minutes, and then you're set! Easy to program the key pad, and easy to reset, if you ever need to. Definitely a really great addition to your bedroom closet!

Went with this option with a flush face so we could hide the safe behind a picture. Installation was pretty straight forward and fits pretty easily just as it should between 16" center studs. Has a pretty good sized flange in case you are not too good at hitting your mark cutting the hole. Comes with few screws that are pretty useless because the are just not the right size (much too long and smaller dia than they should be). Only rather significant negative is that the locking mechanism is a good bit larger than I expected. That means there is a major area of the inside of this already very small safe that is un-usable. Notice the picture of the safe with the door open. that entire center section inside the safe is just about useless. You can maybe stand up something very skinny, like a stack of passports or something, or maybe a very thin necklace box (thought most are too thick for that space).
So, plan on just the bottom shelf and top shelf being useable, with maybe just a couple really small or thin items on the entire middle section.
