Faulty locking mechanism

Less than a year in and the safe stopped locking. Paragon was quick to send a replacement part, and I fixed the issue. It seems like it must be a common problem because they were very quick to recognize the problem and send a part. Then, just a few days ago, the safe wouldn't unlock. The keypad wouldn't work and the key wouldn't turn in the manual lock. Paragon sent a couple of canned responses before sending me a form to have notarized and returned so I could get the safe opened under warranty. As a small business owner, I couldn't wait two weeks for access to the safe. I grabbed the angle grinder and 5 minutes later the safe was open. I'll be replacing it with a better rated safe.

I have bought two of these safes in the last two years and both times they stop working completely. It is junk. Don't buy it. Lost my key first safe not thinking needed and had to break open .. not that difficult either btw. second time again stopped working now have to access with key behind batteries. Contacted amazon weeks ago and no response. would have liked them to replace after buying 2x but not even a response.

Horrible safe. No longer locks after a little over a year in operation with no way to fix. Seems to be a problem with the safe as reading other reviews and no fix is forth coming. Stay away from this safe.
