It may not match your vet's scale but it's close and will weight consistently at home.

I've been using this for years instead of taking the pets in for weights at the vet's office. I got it at the start of my fat cat's diet, and his diet took him four years. Now, I use it to manage his weight along with my other male, and find out if we need to increase or decrease food. I also have two other cats and just found out they're losing weight, so Zieis it is for this month, monitoring the ladies as well. Last year the adapter died and they sent us a replacement in warranty. The weight is reads off will vary depending on placement of your pet. If they are two far off center of the platform they will weight less than they actually are.

I am not sure if anyone even tried to put a puppy on this before putting it up for sale. They flip and fall everywhere. Cheaply made and not balanced. At no time could we get a accurate weight. The patient had to be perfectly still but we all know this doesn't happen.

We ordered two for our Animal Hospital. They work excellent, look great and have so many options. Can be used plugged in or battery powered. Just could not be any better for daily use.
Disappointing. Doesn't work - isn't weighing anything. Weird UN-5 error upon turn on.

Doesn't work upon arrival. Very disappointing. Getting a weird UN-5 error upon turn on & that error isn't described in the manual anywhere. Returning it. :-(

This was perfect for my 5-6 pound senior dog. I needed to keep track of her weight; and this was accurate to the hundreth. VERY pleased. Well worth it.
