Spike has been around for years. I got reacquainted with it on a trip to the Colorado mountains at a small health food store. It was listed as an ingredient in a delicious egg salad they served. So I ordered it, then reordered it as I've used it continuously since then.
You'll want to buy one shaker and purchase the rest in bulk. It's that good.

My parents don't eat eggs without putting Spike on it, and now my mother has begun putting Spike on just about anything she would season. It is a highly complementary mix and tastes good on chicken, eggs, pork chops, and even fish.

Spike has been a cooking staple for our family and extended family for decades. We find that there's nothing quite like its particular formulation. Making chicken soup, and so many other family favorites and daily basics, including our multiples of fresh veggies, just wouldn't be the same without Spike.

Great seasoning but it came in a plastic pouch and I had to provide my own bottle. Be aware of this so you have a bottle ready or get it in the bottled version
