Great quality paint pen for marking metal and machinery filters to indicate date and hours it was changed at.
Good to cover up paint dmg on metal surfaces

Used it on a white metal cabinet to cover up a spot that someone scraped the paint away. Worked well as the mark was a narrow line, so this was perfect.

Exelent product!
Not Fine, More like Medium That Smudges.
What I Think✓ Verified Purchase•March 23, 2016
This product claims to be a fine metal marker, the manufacturer needs to define the word "fine". The line that this particular marker makes would be more classified as a medium. On top of that the marker is incredibly unintuitive and difficult to use and constantly smudges and does not produce clean sharp layout lines. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the color is vivid and the marker fits well into the hand. If you are looking for a marker for metal layout look elsewhere.
But I found that the pen allowed such precise control that I was able to do an absolutely perfect job without the masking tape

I used this to put white dots on a high-end target sight. I tried using precision masking tape to shape the dots, and the results were just OK. But I found that the pen allowed such precise control that I was able to do an absolutely perfect job without the masking tape. The paint flows perfectly, is completely opaque, and dries quickly - but not fast enough to create handling problems. Great product!
