first- even the "chew proof" dog beds out there aren't chew proof- they have a "one time replacement" warranty. Anyone who bought this because their dog isn't kennel trained and tears up everything- well, what did you expect to happen?

This is heavier duty! It can help with dogs who nest- it won't rip with scratching (which is different than digging!).

Rubber underside and tough upper. You can hose it off to clean it. It provides support- no- it's not a memory foam mattress that's 4" thick. It's not supposed to be. It's a crate mate for comfort for your dog rather than them laying on hard plastic or in mud/cold ground. No different than a quality camping mattress pad.

If you want a durable kennel pad that can easily be hosed down and will last- this is for you.

If you expect this to teach your dog kennel manners and stop destructive behaviors, you will not get your money's worth.

These make great crate liners. Firm comfortable padding and easy to hose off. Dries quickly. Wicks water away from pet too. Puppys may chew it to bits though.

We have two big yellow labs that love these. We purchased a total of three because one of my dogs tore through one. However they're pretty hearty. When's my dogs got past the one-year-old stage they don't mess with it at all. The material is similar to a Kong material chew toy. They're easy to clean, we just pulled them outside and hose them down and let them dry out.

Our little puppy has chewed up every crate pad we have purchased until this one.

Best dog bed I have found for the price. I do cut the tags off so they are not chewed.
