Tastes good. Even after 3-4 minutes in boiling water, however, small pockets are lukewarm and chunky. Seems higher quality than Korean Ottogi brand, but I prefer Ottogi brand in the sense that it's a bit thinner and thus easier to heat up evenly.
Tasty for a pre-made curry

When you want the best possible Japanese curry, you should start with fresh ingredients and make your own roux. Second best is with commercial roux blocks and fresh ingredients. But in a hurry? This stuff is great. Add a can of chicken breast, or other meat and serve with sticky rice.

I've never had curry so I can't compare this to any other curry. I can say it is delicious. It reminds me of very thick vegetable stew. I strongly suggest you heat it according to directions before eating. If it is not well heated there is something very like margarine that will coat your mouth. When heated this doesn't happen.
Good for lunch at work.

S&B is a popular company in Japan. I trust this company. I love the curry. I purchased this one and mild one. I love both. I prepare a bit of rice in a container and take it with this curry and eat it for lunch at work. It's easy and tasty and makes your lunch time better if you like curry.

Delicious, yet texture of it is a bit thick so you can add water to fix that if you want. Delicious!!!
