I read all the review for MAE PLOY different curries. I bought this one because it was said to be the mildest. WOW, if this is mild!!!!!!! I do like it, it is delicious and if this is their mild curry I will not get any others, it has a kick! It is not screaming hot and it is tasty! I have had similar curry in a restaurant that only had a little hot spice, would love to find something like that.

If you're looking for an authentic tasting Thai/Chinese curry paste, this is it. It tastes just like what you get from a Chinese restaurant when you order Curry Beef or Chicken With Onions. I use 5 tablespoons of this curry paste for each two pounds of beef, chicken or pork. I also use 2 cups of beef or chicken broth with 4 teaspoons of cornstarch for a sauce..

I love this paste!! I can make my favorite thai dish with it, and it comes out tasting exactly like the restaurant. I have previously bought the smaller size 2 years ago, and I loved it so much that I bought it again. It tastes just like my previous order. I also find that compared to the powder you get more flavor, and I also found that I went through the powder way faster than the paste. So the paste is a way better deal. Also the paste gives a spicy kick, whereas the powder is very mild. If like yellow curry this is what I recommend.
