Yeah, I like it, but the CATS LOVE IT
Rose Michaelsen✓ Verified PurchaseFebruary 27, 2017
I love it but more importantly, my cat loves it. He usually sleeps at the foot of my bed but I missed him there when I work up during the night and got up to check. He was sound asleep on the top level of the tower. I do not mind, in fact I am very pleased as the tower was a gift to him. It was not too easy to put together and if you are a senior or a person with not much strength I would definitely say this is a two person job. I am 68 and it took me a long time and a lot of effort. The instructions are very clear but need a magnifying glass to read. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a cat that they love. It does not need much space, is very tall, and very steady. My cat runs and jumps to get on to it and it moves a little but sits upright with no problem. My two cats are 10# and 15# and neither of them have a problem.
My cat loves it

It's next to my couch so when I'm relaxing she is usually sleeping on one of the levels or in the hide out at the bottom.
Sturdy material, it does wobble a little when she's in the top. Looks nice with the rest of my espresso furniture. I live in a small apartment so I wanted something other than an ugly carpet one since it is in my living room. Worth every penny in my opinion if you hate the look if carpet trees.

I'm more than happy with this cat tower. My two cats took to it right away. It was easy to put together. Just be sure to get the four sides on the bottom in the right positions and you'll be just fine. We didn't have the right sides put together, but even with having to backtrack and correct that, it only took us about 30-45 minutes to assemble it.
Functional and beautiful Cat Tower

The Lotus Cat Tower not only provides the cats with tons of entertainment and places to nap/comfortably spread out - which is a feature that many cat trees do not have - it is also a great looking piece of furniture. The cats were occasionally catching their claws on the carpeted areas so I ordered the Lotus Platform cushion set from the retailer. The cats now love to comfortably jump from level to level and they also have a great vantage point for looking out the window.

Immediately upon unpacking the box, I realized that the Cat tower was not like ordinary cat trees. It is well made and very sturdy. The tree was easy to put together and they included a Phillips head screwdriver. It actually took me longer to clean off the tiny styrofoam pieces from the tower. I know I'm being nitpicky, but I wish they had not used sytrofoam sheets to pack the tree, it is a pain cleaning the mess the pieces that break off the sheet.

The cats use all the levels including the little cubby hole at the bottom. I have a shorter cat tree next to it and they're constantly jumping from one to the other. The Cat Tower is well worth the cost as it is an elegant piece of furniture that fits into most decors. I do recommend trading out the carpeted levels for the cushion set. It makes the Cat Tower look even more beautiful and gives that cats a much softer and comfortable place to sleep.

**Update**
The cats enjoy the Lotus Cat tree so much that I've purchased a second one for the office. As both cats love high places, it is not unusual for one to be on the top of one while the other is on top of the 2nd tree.
A substantial and worthy improvement on the ugly cat tree style wasteland

Spending this much on a cat tree might make you instinctively gulp, but if you don't have a dedicated cat playroom to stash it away in, at some point you will want a cat tower alternative that won't make your living room or bedroom look terrible, and this is one of the few quality options out there under a ridiculous, inflated designer price point.

Setup took about an hour solo with the Phillips head manual screwdriver the company includes. Instructions could have larger illustrations but everything else was more or less clear through inference. Packaging is heavy and large, you will want help getting it in the door. The pieces are solidly made and weighty, and the fasteners feel secure and well-set once everything is put together. The removable carpet pieces are nicely made and velcro onto their matching platform pieces so its easily cleanable. Design-wise, the color and style are fashion neutral enough that it fits in with my dark wood antiques and computer desk.

Our 18 pound cat/tank hybrid loves the top curve platform - he's too big for most cat beds, but the generous size and stability of the top platform on this tower has him totally sold. If you can't live with the ugly cat tower anymore but aren't in the market for the $1000 mod-art models from a Swedish design firm, buy this one with confidence that you didn't drop three hundred bucks and change in vain.
