I first came across liquid Safeguard in a Dunkin' Donuts. I was unable to find it for purchase anywhere. Turns out they only sell this in a commercial-use size. They have a line of pump dispensers, but I do not believe those are the exact same soap. They don't sell them in my area, anyway.

At the time of my purchase, the price including shipping was the normal price a case seems to go for, so I didn't feel as if it were overpriced. I wish I could buy it in smaller quantities, but at least it's actually available.

It leaves your hands very soft, and the smell is very good.

However, you won't be able to use this soap in a foaming pump dispenser. You can mix liquid soap with water to create refills for your foaming pump dispensers. That's all those refills you buy are anyway, soap watered down with water. However, this soap will not work. Even when watered-down, it's still too thick. And it does not remain in solution. It will separate, requiring you to shake the container each time. When pumping it out, all you will get is splurts of some soap and water, but no real foam.

It's a shame Proctor and Gamble won't make this available in a home size, in stores. From what I understand, the line they do offer is not the original Safeguard scent.

I first came across this soap in a restaurant in Portland. After using the restroom and washing my hands, I called over one of the waiters (the main waiter, perhaps, as he seemed to be managing the others somehow), and asked what it was. He looked so alarmed that I quickly added that I was asking because the scent was so lovely. He was SO relieved I wasn't complaining about an allergic reaction ....

I couldn't find it in the stores I went to, but happily I found it on Amazon. It is a little expensive because you have to order a vat of it, but I was able to take one bottle to work and expense it. One of my co-workers, the first time she tried it, told me it reminded her of Europe somehow (she is from Europe) (as am I actually).

I don't know how to describe this scent, it is just lovely. Safeguard should offer it in smaller portions.

I received my soap within two days!! I was in the hospital for surgery and fell in love with the smell of the soap that was being used throughout the hospital. Every time the nurses approached me they smelled so fresh!! I finally asked what kind of soap is being used?? I was told Safeguard!!! I went on the hunt could not find it in any local stores near me... I found it in Amazon!! My two gallons came! The soap has a beautiful velvet consistency!! The smell is so fresh and lingers!!! I am super happy and proud of my purchase!!!

Love the scent and consistency
It leaves your hands smooth and clean. I wish there are smaller bottles with same scent and creamy feel to buy. I will still buy again whenever I need to.

Ahh! We have always loved the scent of Safeguard and since it's sealed in a bottle, the scent is somehow fresher than with the bar. We gave up on bar soap because it would leave so much soap scum in the shower. Liquid safeguard doesn't seem to leave as much residue. We filled a pump dispenser to use in the shower for a body wash. Our skin feels softer and hydrated, and of course, clean. We also filled a foaming dispenser with about 25% safeguard and 75% water to use as hand soap at the bathroom sink. The color is a creamy pale pink.
I don't understand why this is not readily available in personal sized bottles in every store selling soap.

Now, what to do with a half dozen bars of unopened Safeguard!
