Absolutely beautiful leather notepad and pen. I have several of these from other manufacturers, and this is clearly the best. It also fits into my shirt pocket, and being a writer, it offers convenient handling when I am writing down someone's quote. In addition, the paper is excellent quality and I can use my fountain pen on it without smearing.

I recently purchased a Royce Journalist-Style Leather Flip Notepad from your company on Amazon. I am very happy with the item. It is as described on the Amazon web site and of a high quality. I am very happy with the purchase.

I would like to see you offer an just like the one I purchase but the opens side to side and contains 2 memo pads instead of one. If you have one like this and I just missed it please advise and I will purchase it.

I carry this pad with me everywhere. I find that it looks less rude to write down something I wanted to remember, or even what someone is recommending to me (movie, restaurant, whatever) in ink here than pull out my iphone and have it look like I am checking my email and texts. I get a lot of compliments on it as well -- I think because it feels so old school and luxurious vs. modern digital devices. I am now on my second one as the first one finally started to look too worn. Lovely color too.

To those people who wrote negative reviews because they didn't check the dimensions and thought they were buying a larger pad instead of a pocket one -- how is your not noticing that this was different than what you wanted a negative about the product when it lists its correct dimensions?

A beautiful notepad! The first thing I noticed was how soft the leather was. The term that comes to mind is "buttery soft" if that makes any sense. Mine came with a silver pen. From what I can see it is made completely of leather with no plastic pieces. Be aware that it is a small notepad. I'm including a photo of it next to some coins to give it scale.

Love this. It feels great, looks great, and is just fantastic. The leather is great and the stitching looks good.

My biggest complaint is the difficulty in getting refills for the paper and the included pad is pretty terrible, at least in regards to how it is held together. It is an adhesive / staple which makes it a pain to separate when purging notes. I went and got some of those cheap steno notebook pads (the small ones that come in packs of 3-5) and just cut them to size. They work great and the small spiral wire fits comfortably.

Zebra SL-F1 Mini Ballpoint Pen, 0.7 mm, Light Blue Body, Black Ink (BA55-LB) This is the pen I bought to go with it. Absolutely fantastic.

The pen that comes with it is alright, nothing bad but nothing great. I was expecting worse and was pleasantly surprised. If I hadn't ordered the one I lined above already, I'd be content with the included pen.

So, overall, the leather flip notepad is just astounding... the included paper could be improved greatly, and the pen is decent. It fits perfectly in all my pockets and has really become an asset in my day to day life. It has now become one of the items that are on me at all times. Thanks again! If I ever have issues with it, which I don't expect to, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.
