Great quality. Easy to adjust and fits comfortable and snug with no slipping once secured . Feels like a workout just walking around. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm 51 y.o. and just trying to stay in shape. I'm not much of a runner and am worried about knee and hip injuries. But I wanted a way to bump up my heart rate during my workouts without running. This vest has done the trick. I can get my heart rate up higher and faster; and do so at a walking pace. The weight distribution is is great. I have big shoulders, but no problems putting it on, off or wearing for 1.5 hour hikes. And the flexibility to add or subtract weight is a plus. My only suggestion is to put some bright tape across the front and back. These vests look vaguely like flac vests or something that might freak people out. I have bright orange duct tape across mine saying "weight vest," just so people don't get the wrong idea. Would totally recommend.

It's well made and surprisingly comfortable. But even after a 30 minute walk, my shoulders look like this. They only mildly hurt. I wish there was just a bit more padding such as some gel or something else soft instead of the plain canvas.

This vest has a lot going for it- the padding in the shoulders makes extended wearing less painful on the traps. The pocketed design allows for additional weights in the future without having to replace a whole set of plates. This vest comes with six 3-pound weights (although when I weighed them, they all were a few ounces short of three pounds). There are 9 pockets on the front and 10 pockets on the back, so plenty of upgrade space.
