Some low level reviews say these are all dried up and not filled properly. I am very pleased. They are half glittered and half neon and other colors. I tested each and all work well. If you find they aren't completely filled...no gel or ballpoint pen ever is. Look at a refill when you buy one. That's how they are made.

The gel pens are really good, The case is not. I purchased this set for the case to make it easier to carry the pens. I was very disappointed in the case.The carry case is a very thin tin metal and just trying to get it out of it's casing started bending in the metal at the hinges. It's not very easy to get it closed and locked. The pens, which are on both sides are not glued down and so they fall towards the middle when you go to open and especially close it, I would not buy this product with the case . I would buy the pens. The 4 stars are only for the good gel pens. I purchased these for my mom who is in a home. The adult coloring keeps her and her friends occupied. They get together with their coloring books and pens.

well i got 9 duplicates in the gel metallics. the normal colors, no dupes. I have a case coming for 48, reading that there were some duplicates, but had no idea i would have so many. i got these to kind of *fill in* my 100 tek markers. they are short on purples, other basic colors..this does the trick. the tin case is actually ok. the markers come in plastic holders that float lose inside. but the markers stay put in the plastic. but like i said, got a case anyway. totally doable if you are on a low budget! =) some of the markers ink are separated in the middle? going to stand those upside down to see if i can get those to connect again..odd. gee, sounds like a lot of complaining..but i do like them. just know what you are getting before you are buying them. I still think they are worth the money. I will send the duplicates to my teen! =)

When I got these the pens work really well, the color is vibrant and they make my work pop. The down side to this item is really the metal storage case that houses the pens, and the inserts the pens are in, the case feels flimsy and it dents way to easily and the inserts are just plastic not anything truly durable for long-term care or use. If the case was better reinforced and the inserts were more durable and glued into the case itself I could see this item really be well appreciated.

The tin case is very flimsy and came all dented. I wasn't planning on storing them in the case but it looked really bad and almost returned them before I opened them. Inside, WOW! look at all the colors....each shade of a color is way too similar to the next. We so use them for coloring and lasting for quite awhile already. Maybe not the best quality, but I sure wasn't looking for perfection or I would have went to a craft store where I could test them for quality before purchasing.
