Unless you like very small ring gauge cigars (like Lanceros), these foam trays are almost useless. I had to remove one tray just to get 20 cigars in it. I'm a bit disappointed with this size because I bought it to replace my 18 ct Sherman traveldor. If I wanted to remove trays, I could have just taken them out of that one. If you can live with that, overall construction is very good. One other item my friends have done is remove the trays, and use those 5 compartment cigar bags.

I haven't been able to fit 30 cigars in the case, with the foam. I assume that will change as the foam softens.

Much better quality then the large 50 count cigar caddy. Stronger construction.
I like the 15 and smaller cigar caddy. But the larger box is much thinner construction then this xikar
