I bought this so I could go camping with my Mom. She needs an air mattress at this stage in life and this power inverter was strong enough to fill a queen size air bed with a "headboard". Highly recommend!

It works well, when it works. You have to fiddle with the plug end in the car outlet sometimes. It's not an issue with my car but with the power inverter, other cords work fine and my car is less than a year old. Also it is LOUD, if the radio is off you can definitely hear it. Though it allows for charging of several items, which is always a positive. I would buy again, but wish it was quieter.
Maybe I got a bad one.

Worked okay the first 4-5 times we used it. Tried using it a a 6th time and it blew the fuses in my 2012 Suburban. And before you claim that it was an issue with my Suburban, I tried it on my 2003 Accord and it did the same thing. Not sure what happened to it. Was good the first few times we used it. Now I have to get a replacement. Lots of positive reviews for this one so maybe I got a dud. It is out of the return and replace period since it isn't something we use but a couple of times a year max on vacations.
UPDATE: Still works, but quite noisy. Dropped from 5 to 3 stars.

This device has gotten steadily more noisy over time. It is no longer quiet. I would not purchase this over again...not because it doesn't work or anything, but more because there are better charging options that are quieter these days.

Quiet and perfect for our car. We have used this for laptops (kids watching movies in the back seat), and for various mobile devices. It charges quickly and is very quiet, even when the fan is running. This does exactly what it said it does, and does it well.

I have both the 300W and a 1000W version of the BESTEK inverters, they both Rock! The coolling fan of the 300W vesrion is a bit of a draw back, consuming around 0.3A (300mA), and its a bit noisy at night, (the 1000W version manages the cooling fan better), apart from that these are a really, really good buy, affordable price and very reliable.
