Had a problem with one bag. Grew a large amount of foxtail grass (noxious to dogs and horses). Also, poisoned the new topsoil. Replanted grass planted grew sparse (tried to rototille, improve soil with composted manure and lawn starting fertilizer- nothing worked). Grass would only grow sparse until area was recapped with new topsoil. This was only one bag out of several. But, because this I now only buy grass seed that has no noxious weed content.

First off, dont buy this for NC unless you have some shade to protect from the summer heat. I used this on a 1 acre lot. Looked awesome at first but the summer got the best of it and by July it was dormit and there was nothing I could do to stop it. It comes back in spots through the winter but not much, and mostly in shaded areas. I opted for annual rye in the winters now and I know it will die off so I only do the bare min for upkeep. This seed however if you follow the preparation and watering cycles will come up nicely and quick.

Absolutely the WORST Grass Seed I've have ever experienced!! We had the most perfect conditions in September for grass seed... Hot sunny days and we carefully watered every 2-3 days. The seed barely started to come up and then never took off or filled in???? We even bought soil specifically designed for new grass seed.Would very much appreciate a full refund.
