Bought as a gift as she has a couple big ones but needs a small one now that her kids are going off to college. They both work so this worked out well for them, just right for 2/3 people. Also for a side dish of chili or nacho cheese for crowds. Keeps side dishes warm and has a choice of settings, not just on or off. Recipient was very pleased and I have heard no complaints as to performance. If I do, I will update my review.

I'm not much a cook (if at all...) but I absolutely love this slow cooker!

I'm a young woman and purchased this during my last year of college; I wanted to be able to make good, hassle-free home cooked meals without having to deal with the extortionate proportions that the larger models procure. This was perfect! I've made all kinds of dishes - ranging from chicken to beef to fajitas to stew and beyond.

The product arrived completely in-tact (some reviewers said theirs came with the lid broken, etc.) and with clear instructions. It's much simpler than the other Crock-Pot models (there is only a High or Low switch and no timer, which some have taken issue with) but I actually find that a lot easier to deal with. For example, when I cooked my chicken fajitas, I would leave it on low for about 5 hours and the chicken would be perfect (soft and flavored). I would just set a timer on my phone!

It's also very easy to clean; the inner "bowl" detaches so you can put that and the lid inside the dishwasher and it's clean in no-time.

In short, this is perfect for a single person (in whatever capacity!) who wants to make delicious meals without leftovers that could feed the neighborhood.

This is for the 2 qt. Crockpot. It's a perfect little, manageable size. I'm cooking for one person, so a small amount doesn't leave a huge bowl of leftovers to finish up all week. It easy to wash and store.

I cooked a cup of quiinoa with 2 cups water. Took about an hour and a half on high. The quinoa turned out better than it does in the rice cooker.

The crock is probably safer than the metal ones. Nice that the crock is removable. Settings are Low High Warm. Fully manual, but I've never found the timer on a slow cooker to be of much use.

Looks like Crockpot discontinued the 2 qt, so the price is great. I couldn't find it anyplace else online.

I absolutely adore this little fella. I have the 7qt and hate having to clean it when I make something small like single serving oatmeal. So this small version works wonders and I'm now able to make lunch and breakfast overnight without having to pick and choose what to sacrifice. Since there is no timer, just be careful to pay attention to what time you put in the food. For the price, I'm extremely happy that it's still the same product but smaller.

This is the perfect size for side dishes and is very affordable. I bought this because my kids wanted cocktail wieners for Thanksgiving and I had a ham cooking in my larger crock pot. This fit two packs of the little smokies and sauce just right. It did seem to take a very long time to heat up though, a couple of hours later and the smokies were only luke warm on the inside (on high temp). The crock pot did manage to bring them to a high temperature after quite some time. Very happy with this purchase, bought a second for my daughter for Christmas.
