Durable and easy to use

I decided I needed to get my Scottish terrier a harness to avoid having him damage his larynx when he pulls against the leash when he sees other dogs, cats or squirrels. I spent a lot of time looking at reviews of many different harnesses and settled on this based on EzyDog customer service responses to other user complaints. I wanted something that was easy to put on and take off. And I also wanted something that wouldn't rub him raw anywhere. I had read I should avoid harnesses that reach over the dog's shoulder, like this one, but after reading all the positive reviews, I thought this might just be specific to certain low quality harnesses.
So, I ordered the Medium harness and was pleased with the quality when it arrived. My dog wasn't bothered at all by the harness being put on, as it slips easily over his head and then is buckled together behind his legs. I was worried the buckle would hurt him, but it is padded pretty well. So far, he has not been able to back out of the harness or acted as if it bothers him. It HAS NOT reduced his tendency to pull, but his has drastically reduce his choking sounds when he does pull. I hope to break him of this natural tendency soon.
The only reservation I have is that the strap that goes behind his legs twists behind his left leg and I don't think that can be comfortable. Again, he doesn't have any areas where it appears this is rubbing him sore, so it may not be uncomfortable for him. I do know that dogs generally have a much higher tolerance for pain, so I would like to see the manufacturer make the portion of the harness that goes behind the legs and under the chest, a bit thinker or padded to avoid this twisting tendency.
*UPDATE* After reviewing the comment by EzyDog customer support, I attempted to adjust the front strap as suggested so the chest strap doesn't twist behind my dog's left leg. The video provided on Amazon by EzyDog shows how it should be adjusted and I have had some success in moving the chest/belly strap father back from his legs. I should've paid more attention to the directions! Thanks EzyDog!

Easiest Harness to get off and on

I bought one of these years ago for an old dog that couldn't have anything around her neck and really liked it because it was easy to get on and off. Once you adjust it, you just put it over their head, wrap the large strap around their chest/belly, and snap ONE buckle. She was not a puller and always walked nicely on any kind of collar, so it was perfect for her. I bought this one for a large, powerful 75# puller and while it really doesn't stop him for pulling (there are better harnesses out there for that) I still really like it because of how comfortable he seems and how much control I have over him using it and again, the ease of getting if off and on a rambunctious youngster. I paired it with a "two handle" 6 foot leash and it works great. I would like to mention that my dog was able to "back out" of the harness, but I don't like to make it too tight. Now that I know he can do that, I just make sure he doesn't get into a position that allow him to do it. My goal is to teach him to walk nicely and this harness gives me the control I need while working on that skill.
Best harness - medium for 41 pound/22" girth

My favorite harness yet! I want another! I got this for my service dog because I dobt like thr big bulky vests abd this works perfectly! I had patches sewn on it abd I LOVE the little side ring to clips stuff on. I put my dogs tags and my medication on it and it works perfectly. So happy! Fast shipping too!
Oh. And my dog is a 41 pound pit bull with a 22 inch girth so I bought a medium and it fits perfect!

Happy Dogs! Not Choke and we had a pleasant walk

This worked great! I had two dogs staying with us for 5 days and they are super pullers when it comes to walking. I truly hate the sound of a dog choking itself on a stroll, very disturbing and dangerous for the dog. The owner does not walk the dogs on a harness but when I pet sit I prefer to do so hence I ordered both dogs a harness. This made our walks enjoyable and I was able to control them and they weren't choking themselves.
The 2 hour tear..

This was the 2nd Ezywalk I had purchased, as my pup very quickly outgrew the original. I was so excited when it arrived but with a last minute schedule change, I used it for the first time this past Tuesday, January 24th. He hadn't even worn it for 2 hours and I noticed it was fitting weird. Upon looking to make sure it was still fastened, I find that the strap on the right side is nearly ripped in two. I was very disappointed in this because this was going to be his halter that he wore around the office and potentially to calls we were dispatched on. Needless to say there is now a huge dent in his ability to go on calls with me unless he has the proper harness (until his for the organization arrives). Not to mention the money I'm now out of in shipping and purchasing this one. I'm curious to know if changes have been made in this company, as our first one was absolutely incredible.
