The sealing clasp feels decidedly Star Trek engineering bay-esque, and the design is unobtrusive and modern. Finally - I think I have found a dog food container that my ravenous and relentless yellow lab can't defeat. I call him my little overachiever. I had to take him to the emergency vet because he swallowed a tennis ball - they found two. Nothing is safe from him but I think this container has finally foiled him. It's crazy expensive but beautiful and money well spent.

This is my second dog food storage bin. The first one we had for about 3 years before getting a new puppy who needed his own dog food bin. This product is fantastic. We have magnet labels which stick onto it to keep track of any feed changes and we couldn't be happier. We buy the 32 pound bags of food and they fit in the container perfectly. If we get more dogs, we will definitely get more of these bins!

Very nice appearance and a great way to store pet food. My dog's food has a very strong odor and this keeps the kitchen from smelling like raw fish. If you don't plan on storing pet food in the open, it's probably sufficient to just stick with a plastic container, but this looks like it belongs in the kitchen, and doesn't look like a pet related product which is a benefit

We have two dogs, one is very nosey and gets into things all the time despite being mostly blind. We used to keep their food in plastic bins with locking lids that were in the pantry. Well, our nosey dog figured out how to open the pantry, drag out the plastic bin, which is twice his size, chew off the lid and then dumped the food all over the floor and gorged. After that incident we bought these and haven't had a problem since (knock on wood). The air tight lid and locking handle are a great design that has kept them out of the food thus far. Despite attemptd to oull the container down this has stayed up and locked keeping thier food fresh, minimizing the smell of dog food throughout the house and most importantly secured from nosey dogs. Yes its expensive but its been the only thing that works and looks good too.
