I remember looking for one about eight years ago and couldn't find this now that I have one I can spare myself a few minutes of frustration of trying to figure out where the shot went when putting on a new scope.

I was using a boresight that went in the end of the barrel of a .22 rifle. Could not get the optic to work and thought something was broken on it. Used this in barrel laser and was able to dial it right in. 10 times better than using one that is in end of the gun as even with the right parts can move more than this. Very happy purchaser.

For needing an auxiliary battery pack due to its size I was surprised that the laser didn't shine as brightly at 50yds as my larger caliber sightmark laser did at 100 with the same amount of sunlight but it do do the trick!
Works OK.

Got this for long distance sighting of my .22lr. Only problem is, at 150+ yards on a bright sunny day, the dot is sometimes difficult to see. Might need to batteries? However, it does give me a general idea of where my shots will land taking account in elevation drop. Saves ammo!
