Simple, inexpensive and works great.

Works great. It would be nice to have an on/off switch somewhere (maybe use a paperclip of something to punch it on/off) but you can just take the plastic battery sleeve out (with batteries still in) and reverse it for storage. Keep the batteries in the sight. The one I received is bright aluminum instead of black but that's OK. Still works great. Used it to setup a laser on a self-defense pump.

Seems to work well. Fits the bore properly. I used it to bench align my Mossberg 930 SPX ghost ring sights and my red dot. I also used it to zero in my gun mounted laser. I haven't been to the range yet but I have high expectations. Having to take the battery out and store it is a PIA so I used a cheap paper punch to put a hole in a plastic sheet and used the round "throwaway" piece to place between the battery and its contact. Definitely not rocket science.

Cheaply made. Metal burrs on battery compartment. The supplied button batteries act as if they are too small for the compartment, they like to flip around when trying to put them in. Once inserted the laser stays on till they are removed. In the end, it worked. I was able to sight in my slug gun in the backyard with the boresight. Was spot on when I was able to go to the range and confirm.

Worked like a champ. Ithaca deerslayer model 37 12 gauge. Already wasted 24 pack of slugs on a new scope. This thing got me sited in in 2 mins. The new scope I installed had to be shimmed and this thing sped up that process very quickly. This laser is very consistent every time it's in the chamber. 3" pattern at 50 yds. Not bad for a 40+ year old gun with a smooth barrel.

Thrilled that I found this! Put a scope on my 12ga and was dreading all the shells I'd use up, at $1 a piece, to get it all sighted in. This worked great to dial in the scope at 25 yrds. Still need to put a few slugs through it to make sure it really is accurate, but I'd suspect it should be. Went with 4 stars because this really needs an on off switch. It's annoying to have to take out the batteries every time and now I have to make sure I don't loose the batteries.
