I use this with my canon rebel T7i and it is quite amazing to use. The panel comes with two different light diffuses. One white and one warm white. It takes 6 AA batteries for those of you wondering and it also has an option where you can buy a Panasonic rechargeable battery which you can use in lieu of the AA batteries. I have been using it for a couple photo shoots and it still hasn't died on me. This locks on the top of your camera and it has multiple settings via slider. It can go to super bright to really dim and it doesn't create that fake flash look either so that's a real big plus especially when you are doing it professionally! Don't look into it unless you enjoy becoming blind

Used at the animal shelter to provide more light for good quality cat pictures - paired with a reflector and a back drop. Supplied an astounding amount of light for what I needed. I was able to get much more clear pictures with this light source attached on top of a tripod. Did take quite a few batteries but they never did die on me in the two years I used this product. Was very easy to mount on top of tripods. Had it knocked off by a dog twice and has not broken (very durable) and is quite resistant to chemicals and liquids.

As with everything else I've bought from NEEWER I would rate it as a great value version of other far more expensive products. So why the 4 stars. A couple of reasons.
First is the build quality. It feels a little light. Great for not getting tired arms but it doesn't instill confidence in the build quality furthermore all the switches feel cheap. The unit is nowhere close to weather proof.
Second while the option of using multiple types of batteries is great. I found out it has a significant parasitic or "turned off" draw. While rocking the (6x)AA configuration I put fresh batteries in it before packing up and going on a week and a half trip. I never needed to use the light on that trip so it spent the whole time off in the pelican case. Upon return I switched it on and to my surprise the batteries were DOA. That's a pretty hefty draw for a light that is turned off. Now on my "pack the camera" checklist there is a step to remove the batteries from the light along with packing a backup set.
In use however, it does all Ii expect of it.. It's REALLY BRIGHT and in general a decent product with a few minor things described above to be aware of. For someone who is more of a hobbiest and will probably never make the money back I've spent on gear this is a great option to the far more expensive professional products. If things change and I start doing for pay work I might look at upgrading to something that addresses the above issues.

Providing enough brightness for recording HD video indoors, or softening shadows outdoors, using my Olympus OM-D-EM1 this dimmable light can be powered by six AA cells or with DSTE 2x NP-F550 Battery + DC01 Travel and Car Charger Adapter for Sony CCD-RV100 CCD-RV200 SC5 SC9 TR1 TR940 TR917 Camera CN-160 CN-216 CN-304 YN 300 VL600 LED Video Light as NP-F330 NP-F530 NP-F570, which is far more economical. Depending upon the brightness setting of this light one of the Li-ion batteries will power this light for several hours, while the other battery is being charged. Four red LED indicators on the back of this light show the condition of the battery at the push of a button. One of the F550/F570 batteries will snap right into the light with no need for an adapter and is flush with the removable back of this light when installed.
This light can be mounted on my camera's hot shoe or screw mounted onto a standard tripod. It comes with two diffusers; one for daylight (5,600K) color and the other to match tungsten (3,200K) light color. Since my camera has automatic color balancing, I don't usually use the tungsten diffuser but both diffusers effectively protect the 160 LEDs. The included instructions are clear, but were obviously not written by someone whose first language was English. For me this light was worth the investment.
