These are my go to cherries for use in Manhattans. The biggest thing I didn't know for years is to NOT refrigerate them after opening (took a lot of research to learn that they didn't need it and that leads to much better results). Refrigeration always led to crystallization and deterioration on the texture of the cherries, I tried all kinds of things (gentle microwaving etc) to try and restore them. Turns out they don't need refrigeration and they are way better.

A bit pricey but worth every penny. Turns your Manhattans from ordinary to awesome.

The seller shipped the product quickly and it was packaged in away i think it would have survived an earthquake.. The Cherries themselves are super sweet.. So much so that one or two in a drink is more than enough.. I am not a big sugar person but that is a personal thing..

I purchased these as a gift for my mother after she told me about the stellar cocktail she had that was made with them. They come in a gorgeous container that could easily be used as a small jar on the counter or a gift container. The price is also unbeatable! A local small restraint owner was floored she got them for under $25! What a deal!

1. Buy 1 jar (preferably glass) of Maraschino cherries at your local grocery store.
2. Order these Amarena cherries and wait approximately 1 week for delivery.
3. Eat 1 Maraschino cherry every day until your Amarena cherries arrive.
4. Upon receipt of your Amarena cherries, use a few (NOT all) to garnish your favorite dessert or cocktail. Enjoy.
5. Throw your Maraschino cherries down on your kitchen floor with enough force to shatter the jar. Leave it there until someone else cleans it up--you'll have nothing to do with them from now on.
