Very sturdy well built Chair the best one sold on Amazon

This is the sturdiest and strongest Shower Chair I have ever purchased. The Frame is very solid and it's obvious it can support a hefty amount of weight. I have purchased several shower chairs as well as shower and tub benches. Other chairs without the x shape cross bars are ok, however for a sturdier safer chair the cross bars are awesome.
I am a solid heavy Man about 5'10" and weigh about 220lbs I feel this Chair will support my weight and be a very safe Chair that is built to last.
What also makes this Chair all the more sturdy is the cross rods holding and supporting the legs. Like and X shape providing more durabillity.
So happy Amazon offered this Chair and for the great price.
Also 2 or 3 negative reviews say the legs didn't lock properly. Well in all honesty that is the fault of whoever placed the item in the tub. Before using any item like this it needs to be checked before allowing any handicap person to use it.
And the legs are very durable.

Great chair, does not wobble at all. Sturdy for a 330 pound person. Cannot say how it would be for someone heavier but it seems well made. Great that someone who has a torn knee tendon and cannot bend or sit easily and can no longer take a sit down bath can now sit in a hot shower and have a leisurely shower in comfort and not worry about falling. Cleans up nicely and so far after a few months no notice of rust beginning anywhere. Still looks new. I would even recommend this for average weight people. My mom was only 110 pounds and had a chair that wobbled and always made her feel insecure. Every person who needs a shower chair needs one that is secure and solid. This one is!!!
Seriously the best bath chair!

This is the third bath chair I've purchased in as many years. The first two had to be tossed because the seats cracked, resulting in the backs of my thighs getting pinched every time I sat down. The screws ended up rusting, making the chairs very unstable and unsafe.
This AquaSense chair is MUCH sturdier. It came pre-assembled. I just needed to adjust the leg height and put the back on, all easy steps. The seat is flat and solid, so I don't think it will crack. I like that the chair depth (front to back) is greater. I don't feel like my naked self is going to slide off the chair if I lean forward. I'm very pleased so far. If anything changes, I'll post a follow-up.

Thank you for making this shower seat... I am not sure how many people on Amazon are real customers. I am a real customer leaving a review. I usually rate my DVD's. This is my first time rating a great product.... I have been suffering for months with a bad left foot and ankle problem. I have what the call PTTD (Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction). It is very painful and I have trouble standing in the shower for a period of time with having pain. I also have a weight issue. I am a big person and I need something that will fit our tub.. This fits will just around 18 inches width. I guess that is standard. Everything else I looked at was too wide.. This seat is great and holds me well. I now can shower without the pain of standing... Thank you AquaSense for making my life a littler more easier.
A great sturdy bath chair for the hefty

I can only stand for a very limited time. Because of that, my showers were always very short, painful, and not very thorough. My wife researched bath chairs and found a few. We narrowed her research down to this one and decided to give it a chance. I am really glad we did.
The chair works wonderfully in our walk in shower. I can take as long as I need without suffering the pain of standing. At the time I bought the chair I weighed 454 pounds. One of our worries is how long the chair would last. With my weight, sometimes things I use have a tendency to wear down quickly. Not so this chair. I wanted to wait before writing a review to see if the chair weakened or broke, I bought it eight months ago and it is as sturdy as I first used it.
The chair is made of steel with rubber cupped feet. The back rest and seat are made of very durable and hard plastic of some kind. It is not uncomfortable. The legs can be adjusted but I have had no need to do so, it was the perfect height right from the start.
For other people like me that are looking for a bariatric bath chair, they need look no further. This is a very, very, nice one.
