Great little storage boxes with handles!
Annie✓ Verified PurchaseOctober 1, 2017
These containers are great for so many purposes. I plan to use one to store my emergency medical kit in my car. I plan to use the other two to store a five pound bag of flour and sugar in my pantry. The handles are sturdy and makes it so much easier to pick up the heavy 5 pounds of flour or sugar. I have thought of dozens of uses for these handy storage containers - so I am sure I will be buying more. The best part is the sturdy handles that makes it easier to pick up and carry them. The handles are receded so they lay flat and the units can easily be stored on top of each other. I also like that they are clear so you can see what is in the container.
The product is excellent, but the sizing was stated wrong

The product is excellent, but the sizing was stated wrong. The product description said 9.8 x 7.1 x 5.9 inches, but you should check the answered questions, because the lengthy description by Bobby Blue gives the actual sizing. (It is an inch shorter than the 9.8 stated there, hence just slightly too small for a loaf of bread from a standard bread pan instead of perfectly fitting it as it would have if the product description was correct.)
Great for storing ice!

I bought this specifically to store ice in the freezer, to avoid the cubes sublimating or frosting or picking up miscellanous odors. I've only had this a short time, but from all appearances it does exactly what I needed it for. Given the vast number of container sizes that Lock&Lock produces, it took me a while to find a size that was appropriate, but this 152 ounce size is exactly right for storing eight trays worth of ice, perfect for making my pitchers of sweet tea! It seems to be very well constructed...I was concerned that the seal would freeze and make it difficult to open after sitting in the freezer for a while, but there have been no issues at all.
We love Lock & Lock containers

We love Lock & Lock containers!! I have a tub of them just for camping. We pre-make most of our food while camping (broccoli cheese soup, beanie weenies, chili, etc.), and then freeze them to help keep the cooler nice a cold. These work great for it. And I love the different sizes and shapes - choices for pre-made french toast batter, condiments, and two versus four of us going. We use the larger ones to store pre-bottled condiments (like ketchup and mayo) so they don't get lost in the large cooler. So much better than glass containers, and they do not leak.

Also, they make great geocaching containers.
Great storage for specialty breads and more.

I have lots of Lock and Lock containers and highly recommend them over any other storage containers. They are very easy to open and close, especially for folks with dexterity issues. The only problem is figuring out which size will fit a specific product. The 152- fluid ounce will hold a 5 pound bag of flour or sugar and it will hold a fat loaf of bread like Pepperidge Farm rye etc. or Dave's Killer bread which is available at supermarkets and some warehouse store. I was very pleased that I finally found a container to keep these odd shaped breads in the fridge and freezer.
