I've been looking for a clip to prevent being strangled by my seat belt. Unlike the plastic alternatives out there, this one is very sturdy and I can't imagine how you would break it. It is easy to install and holds the belt where I want it. The only drawback is that the belt bunches up within the clip and the opening that makes it easy to install also makes it relatively easy for the belt to slip out again, which it does when you retract the belt. It's easy to reattach, though, and I have not had a problem when the belt is in use.

Great quality. All the edges of the clips have been polished before they are chrome plated so there is nothing to damage the belts or any anything else.
I bought these to help lock in the waist portion of a DOT seatbelt/shoulder harness in a stock production class racing car. By preventing the waist portion of the belt from loosening under load I am able to use the belt to help keep my backside firmly planted in the seat (something race seats and harnesses do well but street versions do not do well) making it easier to focus on driving the car thru corners and not on keeping myself braced. The way I use it - at the buckle - it does not affect the operation of the belts shoulder harness retractor at all.
I passed the second on on to my wife who started using it to limit the retracting tension of her shoulder harness by putting it on the belt where it enters the retractor. She is short and could never get the harness comfortable because under normal tension it rode on her neck. Now, with a little slack that this can permit with the shoulder belt, she can ride in comfort with the belt not rubbing on her neck..

I am a short person, so the seat belt on the driver's seat does not sit properly across my chest. This clip does what it advertises and adjusts the angle of the belt. The clip is sturdy and thick metal and it does not shift while being used. Even when the belt is relaxed, the clip is not easy to reposition, which is a plus in my book (who wants to reposition the clip every time you drive?).
What stops this from being a five star is that it is thick. Perhaps this is necessary to work properly, but it does make it a slight issue, especially when I wear my office keys on my belt loop.

I am a 5' 8" male. Not really too short but the seat belt in my Honda Accord irritates my neck. I usually wear V neck shirts. So I wanted something that will make the belt a little lower. This works.
It feels heavy and feels solid. It is big. I can see it poking people's stomach if you had to extend it that far. Mine sits near the belt buckle and to my side. It is hard to adjust after you get it on. It would take a few seconds to readjust everything. However, it does seem to stay in place and keep the same length when you get in and out of the car. Another thing is to be careful trying to grab the seat belt when you get into the car. The belt can swing and the metal part can hit your glass.
Overall, it worked for me.

I've always hated ride in, and especially drive, my husband's truck- mostly because the seat belt tries to strangle me. I can prevent that if I'm a p[assenger by holding it with my left hand- but that doesn't work if I'm driving, and it's also uncomfortable on a long drive.
