Have used this product for over 20 years on a deck built with Ipe. The deck is 23 years old. Before the deck was built, I stained each board. Every 3-4 years will power was the deck and reapply. Deck still looks as good as it did day one. Ipe is VERY dense and this product penetrates and preserves.
