I love my chunky jute rug!! Purchased the grey in 8x10 and it's the most beautiful grey-ish blue (more grey than blue of course but the hint is there)! In reading others reviews let me touch on a couple that stood out to me"¦"smell" yes it's jute a natural fiber so it has a slight earthy smell at first but nothing unbearable and smell will fade pretty quick..next "shedding" again it's a natural fiber so there will be some shedding upon unrolling & occasionally but nothing terrible that would make me want to return just vacuum it up"¦TADAH!

We've had our for a couple months now and overall pleased w/ purchase! It's a great rug for the price point vs paying $500+ for a rug of this size. Just be prepared that you are buying "JUTE" a natural fiber content so it will have its flaws/imperfections and slight shedding but that's what gives it that rustic appearance/vibe and it's wonderful!!

This is a great rug for the price. I haven't had to try to clean it yet, so I can't comment on how easy it is to clean. I do not have a rug pad under it at the moment. Not sure I need one. The knobby texture actually feels great on bare feet. It's like getting a foot massage.

Our rug arrived damp dirty and stinky. We put it outside immediately. We will check it tomorrow. Might have to send it back.
We let it sit in the sun for a few days on both sides. Spayed with Lysol and fabric freshener and vacuumed it a few times before we brought it back in the house. The smell is gone and it looks great
