Love this containment system!!
Fred H.•July 1, 2018
Wonderful way to keep my dogs contained in my yard. We live on 5 acres and they have about a 1,000 foot loop to roam around. No complaints about this system at all!! Their limited lifetime warranty is also nice, greatly reduced prices if something goes wrong after the original warranty expires. Easy to install too. I used my driveway edger to cut the path through the grass for the wire and then just poked it down into the lawn. Instead of going under my driveway or sidewalk I scrapped out the dirt between the "concrete expansion cuts" and used that grove, covered a bit with sand & some caulk at the corners to hold the wire in place. 3 years running now and the dogs have never escaped! Thanks High Tech!! (There isn't much to show in the picture as everything else is burred!)

cheaply made.
The petsafe worked great for years
Amazon Customer•January 7, 2018
Replaced a petsafe unit with this. The petsafe worked great for years, but I bought the high tech pet door so I wanted the rechargeable collar to work for the door and fence.
Works with my existing buried wire, so I only had to use the transmitter. The transmitter seems poorly made but it works so far. One of the tabs that you connect the wire to broke during install and the spring shot out and was lost. Even the one that didn't break doesn't have enough tension to hold the wire in properly. I put a couple screws behind them to hold the wire better.
As for the collar...my only concern is the test button. It is way too easy to push it while on the dog. I'll probably find a way to remove it.

I bought this system in May of this year and the collar will not charge, the light is always red. Can I get a replacement ?

I've had this for a few years now and have had no issue. The collar is small enough that my Italian Greyhound (15 lbs) can wear it. My dad's English Mastiff (150 lbs) stayed with me over the summer and respected the collar/system with no issue. Tip... if you need the collar to be bigger, just go to a cheap store and buy a couple dollar nylon dog collar with a buckle and use it as an extension.
