This is a very good magnifier. The lenses are clear and undistorted. The two small high-power magnifiers may serve a purpose for some uses, but I'd happily sacrifice them for a larger standard magnification lens. The light is useful for reading a menu in a dark restaurant. I was disappointed that it didn't come with a sleeve to protect the lens while it's in my pocket or bag. I was also disappointed when the price doubled. I'll buy a bunch of spares if the price comes down.

I lost my original and missed it, so this time I ordered two of them. Solid construction, effective LED light, long lasting battery for occasional use of light. Excellent 3 levels of magnification and much clearer than the Fresnel style magnifiers. I keep it in a vest pocket at work, and it has not gotten scratched. Very happy with this small, solid device. It makes reading small print UPC labels and product specs (like what kind of battery a device might need, and what the number is on some of the button batteries so often used in small consumer electronic devices.
